A New Strength In The Midst of Hardship

Daily Verses: James 1:3-4

Key Verse: Proverbs 24:10 : If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.

When problems and hardships come into your life, as a believer, you need to be strong in the Lord, look to Him as our protector (Deuteronomy 33:27), and shout to Him and believe that His promised to never leave us is true (Hebrews 13:5). If you rely on Him faithfully, you will given the strength and grace that will be sufficient for you to get through the hard time. David was a worshiper and from he was young, he liked and was very talented in playing the harp. In addition, he was also a strong warrior who was able to defeat the lion and bear who were attacking his sheeps. There wasn’t a single day when David didn’t worship the Lord because God is the priority in his life. David experienced difficult times in his life when he was chased by Saul and sometimes he would have thoughts of not having the strength to carry on with his life anymore. But when he was afraid he always say: “I will trust in You” (Psalm 56:3). He knows that God is the source of his strength and he never let a heavy problem prevent him from worshipping the Lord. Let us be like David.

Be strong and be a worshipper.
