I READ: John 6:1-15
Today, we’re going to learn from the story of how more than 5000 people were fed with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. How did a miracle happen at that time? Apparently, a little boy voluntarily gave up his 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish to the Lord. God was very pleased with what the boy did and as a result performed a miracle. As we are awaiting the Lord’s miracle, let us prepare ourselves by giving the very best to God. Just like the child in the story, maybe that was all the food he had, but he gave it all to God. We should be like this child. Maybe the Lord is reminding us to sow/give in times where it seems impossible. But when we are obedient, a miracle will happen. At the end of this story, the little boy experienced a miracle by bringing home 12 baskets of bread.
I DECLARE: 2 Corinthians 9:7 – So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
