I READ: 1 John 5:1-5
The Bible says God has defeated this world. The world symbolizes the devil and all of his actions. The Lord has defeated them with great victory. If the devil has been defeated, this is a good sign for us because nothing is impossible for us; miracles will take place. Because God has conquered the world, it means that as children of God and as believers that Jesus is the son of God, we have conquered this world as well, verses 1 and 4. We should no longer fear. Don’t let the devil lie to us. He is constantly trying to remind us that we have not won, that he is still roaming around, etc. Say firmly to the devil and remind him that he has been defeated and that he has no power to attack our lives.
I DECLARE: 1 John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
