God’s Kingdom that Restores

For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20

The kingdom of God is God who reveals Himself in all His power. The kingdom of God – God’s power – does not come by itself. It comes for those believers who seek it with hunger and thirst. The Lord Jesus teaches believers in the Lord’s Prayer to pray: “Let Your kingdom come and You will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” God wants to renew the “broken” world as a result of the sin of mankind.

Righteousness and blessings will come when the Holy Spirit is poured out on those who long after God, and the Holy Spirit will do his work. Jesus said in Matthew 11:12 that God’s kingdom or the kingdom of heaven will only be obtained by those who are strong, who are serious in breaking themselves away from sin to Christ and His Word. God’s kingdom is not for those who do not have a spiritual hunger, who rarely pray, praise and worship the Lord or those who still compromise with the world and disobey God’s Word.

Believers must pray and try to bring spiritual manifestation of God’s kingdom to this world so that evil work is destroyed so that those who are sick are healed, those who are lost are saved and righteousness is declared in the lives of believers. Therefore, the role of believers has become so important in these end times. We must bring God’s kingdom to transform the lives of people and our nation.

What must believers do to bring God’s kingdom in their lives? First is to love the Lord. He wants every believer to love Him faithfully. This love talks about our attitude that honors and appreciates the Lord. It is about surrendering our lives to the Lord willingly, making God’s Word a standard in our lives and trying our best to obey His will

Second is to love one another. Believers must be able to love everyone. Not only with those in faith, but also our “enemies.” This love that loves one another must be founded on the standards of God’s Word.

God’s powerful kingdom will be revealed when the Holy Spirit is poured out and transformation will take place. These days we are waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promise: the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God’s promise will be fulfilled when believers have the spiritual hunger and live according to His will by loving Him and others. The Holy Spirit will be poured out great and the Lord will rule as king in our lives and transformation will occur.
