Pastor’s Message 2021

The year 2021 is the Year of Integrity. Of course, there is a reason behind this theme.

By looking at the current world conditions, where the COVID-19 pandemic is happening, the reality is that the world is in a bad state. However, this does not surprise us, the Lord’s church, because it proves that the Lord’s second coming is near.

When the Lord returns, He will rapture His church that has matured according to His image and is ready to be His bride.

In order for us to become a mature church, we need to first be molded to become disciples who have the character traits of Christ. The character traits of Christ bring forth the fruit of the Spirit, one of which is integrity, Galatians 5: 22-23. That is why this year we will focus on becoming true disciples of Christ. Our lives should be just as Christ lived when He was in this world, 1 John 2:6. Obey and do the will of the Father in heaven in this time, Acts 13:26. Continue to faithfully love God, serve God, and wait for His second coming, Revelation 17:14.

As disciples of Christ, one other thing that is equally important that we must carry out, is His calling, the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus, Matthew 28:19-20. We have to disciple and win souls that God has entrusted in our lives. Working closely with the local church will enable us to accomplish this task for the Lord.

As the senior pastors of IBC Church, we ask all of our spiritual family to grow together to become true disciples of Christ and finish the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus.

Even though the conditions are very tough during this pandemic, do not be discouraged. When we work together as a spiritual family, we can endure everything & complete the Great Commission.

We pray that 2021 will be a year filled with God’s goodness, Psalm 65:12. May the Lord bless us all. May we grow together to become true disciples of Christ and to win souls for the Lord.
