ZERUBBABEL

I READ: Haggai 2 : 1 – 10

After the Israelites came back from their exile in Babel, The Lord reminded them to rebuild the temple of Jerusalem and temple of God. The Lord appointed Zerubbabel to lead and coordinate the project. The Lord’s message to Zerubbabel was to complete the project wholeheartedly. The Lord promised them that His Holy Spirit will remain in the midst of them to enable them to work. He also promised to send the wealth of the nations to fund the temple rebuild. From this story, we see how the miracles of God can happen if we respond to the Lord’s calling in our lives and start to work on it wholeheartedly.

I DECLARE: Zechariah 4:6 – This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
