WIN FROM TEMPTATIONS

I READ: Matthew 4:1-11, Luke 4:1

The Lord Jesus gave us a very good example of how to avoid the temptations that the devil offers in our lives. First, we must always be filled with the Holy Spirit. Ask daily for the Holy Spirit to fill us and accept with faith that He has filled us. Secondly, be filled with the Word of God by diligently reading His Word and declaring it in our lives. The Lord Jesus attacked the temptation of the devil by saying, “It is written”, and He began to declare the Word of God to the devil. And the third, cast out the devil who tries to disrupt/interfere our lives by praying against the devil and driving him out in our prayers. Do not be tempted by any attractive offer from the devil, throw him out before he begins to deceive us.

I DECLARE: Matthew 4:10a – Then Jesus said to him “Away with you Satan”.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
