I READ: Ephesians 1 : 17 – 23
Knowing the Lord is very important in God’s eyes. We’re able to draw this conclusion from reading what Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, that in the end times many will call out to Him, “Lord, Lord”…and that’s when Jesus is going to be straightforward with them and say, “I never knew you, depart from Me.” That is why as church of God awaiting for His second coming, it is very important for us to know God even deeper in our lives. Through the Word of God that we read on a daily basis, the Holy Spirit will guide us and provide us with wisdom and revelation so that we can know Him deeper. God will also teach us to know Him deeper through His great works in our lives, Judges 2:10b.
