I READ: Colossians 2:11 – 23
Apostle Paul revealed to the church of God the absolute victories we will experience when we believe in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. First, through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, sin can no longer rule over us, because God has forgiven all our trespasses and nailed all our sins on the cross. Secondly, through His crucifixion the devil has been defeated and Jesus has triumphantly won, and that victory has been given to us, His church. Thirdly, Jesus nailed the curse on the cross, so we no longer need to live under the curse but under God’s grace. Jesus freed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us so that our life now is under God’s grace and not under a curse.
I DECLARE: Colossians 2:15 – Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
