I READ: Acts 2: 41 – 47
The church was first started through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit unto the disciples during Pentecost. One of the characteristics of the early church was their desire to pray, praise and worship the Lord and also to study the Word of God. The disciples were also generous in giving to those in need and also to do the work of God. The signs and wonders of God also followed them wherever they went. They were always filled with joy. These are the reasons why they were liked by others during their time. We believe all of the above will also occur in the church today and we will be filled with the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit who worked 2000 years ago will also work in us and through us today.
I DECLARE: Isaiah 2 : 2-3 : Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains…And all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, He will teach us his ways…”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
