I READ: James 4:6-10
A lot of Christians are afraid of the devil hence why their lives are constantly made restless by the devil. Believers who live in constant fear are unable to fend off evil spirits and are heavily dependent upon other servants of the Lord or their pastor to break off the bondage of evil. As children of God, we have to understand that the devil has been absolutely defeated by Jesus Christ at the cross and no longer has the power to disturb the lives of the children of God. Through His blood, we have been given the power to defeat the devil. But more often than not, we are unable to bring forth the power God has given us because we lack in faith and focus to Him. When we are able to faithfully trust in the Lord and use the power He has given us, the devil will always be defeated and will run away from our lives. We have to always remember that the devil does not have power over our lives and he is not able to destroy or bring failure to the plans God has prepared for all his children.
I DECLARE: Matthew 18:18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
