THE OPEN GOSPEL

I READ: 1 Thessalonians 1

Apostle Paul wrote these letters to the church in Thessalonians. The congregation in Thessalonians was a congregation who understood the calling of God in their lives. Through their testimony they became a blessing within their community as well as other cities. They not only preached the gospel but their lives became a living testimony for others to enjoy. Paul stated that he did not have to preach the gospel in cities surrounding Thessalonians because through their blessed lives the gospel spread to other cities. The Thessalonian church was a congregation who always rejoiced, their faith was an example for all to do good for others.

I DECLARE: 1 Thessalonians 1:3 – Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
