I READ: MATTHEW 1:18-25
The Lord Jesus is always present in the midst of us. He is Immanuel, God who is always with us. He is Jehovah Shammah, He will never leave us or forsake us. In His presence, we will never feel alone and lonely. Our lives will be filled with hope, joy, blessings, and victory. In the midst of our struggle, we will still feel his presence and peace. The problem is that we do not always feel His presence. Why is that? Because we are not as intimate with Him as we should be. If we are intimate with Him then we will always feel His presence in the midst of us. For those reasons, we need to set aside time to pray, to worship and to read the scripture every day to build that relationship with Him.
I DECLARE: Hebrews 13:5b – … For He, Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray for my community such as my school friends, workplace friends, neighbors, LIGHT cell group and my city.
