I READ: COLOSSIANS 1:1-14
The book of Colossians contains the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul taught the congregations at Colosse that Jesus has freed His children from the power of darkness. He has defeated the devil and his kingdom; therefore he no longer has dominion over His children. We as His children have been given that victory. Jesus has brought and placed us in His kingdom and away from the devil’s. His kingdom speaks of joy, peace, and righteousness (Romans 14:17). His kingdom also speaks of His power (1 Corinthians 4:20). As children of God we will live happy, successful, and peaceful lives because our lives are filled with His power and not of the evil one.
I DECLARE: Colossians 1:13-14 – He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray for my VIP List. All the people that I want them to receive Jesus as their Lord & Savior.
