Key Verse : 2 Corinthians 9 : 7 : So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
Today God reveals again the secret for us to experience a successful life, which is by sowing / giving to the Lord. The Word of God in Luke 6 : 38 says that when we give to the Lord, He will bless our lives abundantly, even more than what we have given. 2 Corinthians 9 : 8 says that when we give, the Lord will always fulfill all of our needs. Matthew 8 : 14 tells a story about a leper who was healed immediately by the Lord.After he was healed, Jesus told him to go and show himself to the priest. He taught him to honor the Lord. But furthermore, Jesus told him that he had to give an offering of thanksgiving to the Lord in the Lord’s house. This story teaches us that every time God pulls us through problems / trials in our lives and gives us victory, it is good if we come to His presence, worship Him and give Him our offering of thanksgiving.
If we always treat our interactions with God as if they are business transactions, then we cannot maximize the blessings that we receive from Him.
Daily Action :
I will give the best offering to the Lord every time I worship in the house of the Lord.
Daily Declaration :
Luke 6 : 38 : Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
