I READ: Revelation 2:1-7
In the book of Revelation, there are 7 types of churches living in the end times. One of the churches is the church of Ephesus. The people of this church were diligent and faithful as they carefully discerned the Word of God. But the Lord still reminded them that they have abandoned their first love. So even though ministered faithfully and diligently, this was all a routine and a responsibility that they had. They did not possess a spirit that was on fire for the Lord. The Lord reminded them to repent, realign their perception, and remember the purpose of their ministries. All of this have to be accompanied with the love for God.
I DECLARE: John 2:17 – … “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
