I READ: Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 22:37-39
Today we’re commemorating the ascension of Jesus Christ to the heaven. The fourth message that He gave to His disciples before He went up to the heaven was to teach newborn Christians in doing the Lord’s commandments. The most important of all is to love God with all our heart and love others as we love ourselves. We need to teach the children of God to repent and love Him even more. Consistent devotion time builds up our intimacy with the Lord, which then opens up a better understanding of His Word and purposes in our lives and allows His love to overflow in our lives; only then we can love others as ourselves.
I DECLARE: Matthew 22:37,39 – You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind…You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
