STILL BELIEVE

I READ: Isaiah 40:12-31.

An eagle could only reach the age of 70 if he is willing to go through the process of transformation of the body that is painful at the age of 40. At the age of 40, the beak becomes very crooked and long to make it difficult to eat. The claws become blunt and the wings become very thick of feathers that make him unable to fly high again. At that time, he has to go up to a high mountain. There he will peck his beak on a rock so it becomes detached and grow a new beak. With the new beak, he would pull his nails so that the new sharp nails will grow. With the new nail, he would pluck his wings to grow new wings. This process lasts for approximately 6 months. If this bird can pass through this transformation process, then he will live for another 30 years. God’s children also go through processes in life which often are painful. Do not give up but believe that God is with you and there is a future that God has in store at the end of the struggle.

I DECLARE: 1 John.5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.

I DO: What actions will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
