SINCERE REPENTANCE

I READ: Psalm 51

Surrendering our lives completely to God means that we would live a life led by the Holy Spirit and not a life led by our heart and desires. Even David, during his journey with the Lord, did not escape from sin. He fell into sin by committing adultery with Bathsheba and he murdered Uriah. But David came before God with an open heart and confessed all his sins. He regretted his actions, repented sincerely, and did God’s will in his life. God knows everything we do even when it’s done in hiding. Therefore, it is important that we confess our sins and ask for repentance before God. Confessing is the beginning of healing. Keep praying, continue to believe and live in repentance. Surrender our lives to God and he will continuously restore our lives.

I DECLARE: Psalm 51: 13: Do not cast me from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
