RESPECT OTHERS

I READ: 1 Peter 2:13-17

In general, human beings look up to people with wealth, good position, or whose lives are successful. It is hard to look up to a beggar, a poor person, a person whose life is a mess and is rejected by society. The Word of God says that we as children of God must respect all people. It takes humility to see that we are really nothing and all our blessings and what we have come from God’s grace. The person who can see this will easily treat someone whose condition is not as good as hers or his with respect. Treating others with respect will make them feel appreciated and loved. Let us shine the light of Christ through our good deeds to all people.

I DECLARE: 1 Peter 2:17 – Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
