PURE HEART

I READ:  Matthew 6:1- 4

As believers of God’s redemption on the cross, we’ve learned that Jesus has a pure heart.   What this means is that Jesus completed everything that the Father had told Him to do on the cross.  He did this whole heartedly, without complaining.  The book of Isaiah stated, Jesus acted like a lamb who was mute being taken to the butcher.  Jesus sacrificed His life for us not so He can be called a hero.  He did not expect any praise.  Jesus died because He loves The Father and He loves us.  Jesus humbled Himself, He set aside His equality with the Father in Heaven. Jesus’ humble heart, His holy heart, and His loyalty made the Father in Heaven elevate Jesus and made Him the name above all names.

I DECLARE: Matthew 5:8 – Blessed are the pure heart, for they will see God.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by Holy Spirit.
