I READ: 1 John 1:9, John 14:6, Romans 10:9-10
These are steps to pray for one’s salvation: First, admit that we have sinned, and the wages of sin is death/hell, Roman 6:23. We must beg for forgiveness and repent from our sins. Believe that the blood of Jesus has redeemed us from our sin, Matthew 26:28. Second, John 3:16. Believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, who died to redeem us from sins and to deliver us from death so that we may have an everlasting life in heaven, Romans 5:8. Jesus is the way, the truth and the light. Third, recognize Jesus with our mouths that He is The LORD and Savior and receive Him in our heart to rule our life forever, John 1:12. After we pray for salvation, remind the person to look for a home church so they can grow spiritually.
I DECLARE: Romans 10:9 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
