I READ: James 5:16-18, 1 Kings 18:42-45
What can we learn from the life of prophet Elijah? He was an ordinary man, but he shook the entire universe. With his incessant prayer he stopped the rain for three and a half years. Within moments; he was able to bring back the rain. He was able to do so because he prayed a determined and earnest prayer. To experience God’s amazing visitation, we need to pray, worship and meditate/declare His words daily. Our prayers must be accompanied by faith and unwavering conviction that God will answer them. Elijah prayed a persistent prayer and did not stop praying until rain came down on Israel.
