Daily Verses : 1 Thessalonians 4
Key Verse : 1 Thessalonians 4 : 17 : Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Apostle Paul continued his letter for the Thessalonians in 1 Thessalonians 4. He reminded them that the coming of the Lord is very short, and they need to keep living a pleasing life before the Lord by guarding their holiness. We can guard our holiness when we are filled with the Holy Spirit, verse 8. Holiness includes loving one another, verse 9 and living a proper life, verse 12. Paul taught the Thessalonians that if they live a pleasing life and guard their holiness, the Lord Himself will take and raise His church (rapture) in the time of His second coming. His church will not experience time of tribulation on earth, but will reign with the Lord. These days, let us remind one another that the coming of the Lord is very near, and that we need to always be on guard and keep our lives pleasing and holy before Him.
Loving one another is one of the keys of holiness, because a heart that is filled with love will bring holiness, but a heart that is filled with hatred will contaminate the heart.
Daily Action :
I will pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to fill my life so that I can keep my holiness and be on guard until the Lord comes again.
Daily Declaration :
1 Thessalonians 4 : 1 : Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God
Daily Prayer :
I will enter into prayer fasting, pray in the Spirit, enter into Spiritual warfare, and pray for my school, office, and family.
