I READ: 2 Timothy 3: 10-17
The apostle Paul was a follower of God who suffered much from persecutions. He could survive all persecutions because he clearly knew the call of his life “for me to live is Christ and to die is profit”. He did whatever he needed to do so the Gospel could reach the nations. In these last days, God’s children also experience various types of persecution because they live in the truth. The persecution experienced can be physical, mental or spiritual. Whatever persecution is experienced, believe in the Word of God that says the temptation we experience does not exceed our strength. God will provide strength and faithfulness when the persecution takes place. Keep our eyes on the Lord’s calling and the crown we will receive later will make us strong during the persecution.
I DECLARE: Matthew 5:10 – Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
I DO: What action am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
