PEACE

I READ: Galatians 5:22, John 14:15-27

The meaning of peace is serenity and tranquility. As our Father, the Lord God has bestowed peace in our hearts; but many times that peace vanishes from its rightful place. There are several causes why peace dissipate from our hearts. The first reason; it is because of sins or wrongfulness in our lives as stated in Isaiah 32:17. The guilty feelings drive us to lose our peacefulness. The second reason is that the devil steals our peace. The devil intimidates us with negative thoughts which resulted in dematerializing of our peace. We have to repent immediately to regenerate it in our hearts. Another way to restore our peace back is to constantly cling to God and possess the heart of praise and worship in our lives.

I DECLARE: Isaiah 32:17 – The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
