Daily Verses : James 5:7-11
Key Verse : James 5:7 : Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
The start of a farmer’s harvest start with these 4 steps: 1) cultivate the land, 2) sow the seeds, 3) water the ground, and 4) spread the fertilizer. However, even after doing those 4 steps, the seed will not immediately grow. The farmer needs to patiently wait and time needs to pass before harvest time. Sometimes heavy rain, storm, or drought will mess with the growth process of the seed. Because of this, the farmer needs to start over again to gain the desired harvest. This is what we call patience. Patience is the ability to refrain and keep on hoping until we reach the desired result. As God’s children, we need to be patient people. We need to be patient in suffering and to others. Abraham waited patiently and he got what God promised him. Patience will bear good fruits.
God loves a patient man.
