ONCE MORE, PRAYER WALK

I READ: Joshua 2:1 – 3, Numbers 13:17-20

Before Joshua prayer walked around the city of Jericho and attack it, he sent 2 spies to look over the city.  He wanted to see the condition of the nation, whether it was weak or strong.  He wanted to know whether the city was entrenched or not.  Moses did the exact same thing as Joshua when he wanted to capture the promised land.  Each time before the Israelites attacked a town, they spied on the town so that they knew its exact condition.  We should be doing the same.  Before we perform prayer walks, we need to determine the place that we’re about to pray for, whether it be our house, our school, or our workplace.  Then we need to find out information about the location and do spiritual mapping.  After research and guidance from the Lord, we then can perform prayer walk.

I DECLARE:  Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
