NEW STRENGTH

I READ: Isaiah 40:29-31; Isaiah 57:10

Someone who feels exhausted after hours of working or exercising and being responsible on so many things needs a rest. Some people who seem to always be excited in their ministry, one day may feel like the feeling is not there anymore. They feel that they have failed in life as they see no productive results or appreciations given towards their efforts.  Similarly, like a sportsman who needs rest, we also need to rest to restore our strength.  For children of God who are involved in a ministry, we need to have a quiet and personal time to rest in God’s presence, where we reflect upon His great love for us. Through constant interaction with Him, we will once again be equipped with a new excitement and strength.

I DECLARE: Psalm 42:2 – My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit

ANNUAL BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 30-32
