NEW HOPE

I READ: Romans 8:24,25; Hebrews 6:11,19;

When someone faces a challenge that seems never-ending, a sickness that will not heal, or just no answer to a life-altering question, it is easy for that person to enter into despair, begin to worry, and finally, lose hope. Matthew 6:27 says that no one by worrying can extend the length of their life. Rather, it is the opposite that happens; worrying add to your troubles, and causes you to lose peace and sleep, ultimately resulting in illness. Jesus reminds us to never worry, because He has already borne all of our worries. The death of our Lord Jesus on the cross opened the way for us to experience His grace. Do not worry because the Lord always provides us with new hope every day. Putting our hope in Jesus is one thing that is sure because He has died rose again and now sits at the right hand of God the Father in heaven.

I DECLARE: Hebrews 6: 19-20a: This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us…

I DO: Today I will be aware of the new things that the Lord is currently doing in my life.

I PRAY: I will pray and ask that the Lord open my eyes so that I can see the new things that the Lord is currently doing in my life, believing that today will be better than yesterday.
