MENIAL TASKS

I READ: Matthew 25:14-30

The parable of talents tells a story about a master and his servants in which some servants were able to successfully produce in a given opportunity whereas the other did not.  The servant who did not use the given opportunity had nothing in the end for he did not receive the visitation (anointing) of God.  What was the secret to the other successful servants?  They were diligent and faithful in performing the tasks that God had entrusted to them despite how small and insignificant they were.  They also did not take those things for granted despite how menial the work might have seemed.

I DECLARE: Luke 19:17 – And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
