I READ: Psalm 42:1-12
In order for us to experience the Lord’s visitation in our lives, we have to believe fully in the Lord just as we learned in yesterday’s daily word. We also must have a great longing for God. We must have the desire to meet Him in our prayers, the desire to come to the house of the Lord, the desire to give thanks continuously. We must also depend on Him daily and knowing that we are in His presence every minute of the day. All of these desires are explained clearly in Psalm 42. The Lord is going to show Himself to us when we long for Him. He’s going to allow us to meet Him face to face. Matthew 7:7 says that when we seek after Him, we’re going to find Him. And whenever we need His help, the Lord is going to help us. That has been promised to us through His Word, found in the last verse of Psalm 42.
I DECLARE: Psalm 42:1 – As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.
