LIVE IN OBEDIENCE

I READ:  1 Samuel 13:1-14

Saul was Israel’s first king.  When the Lord placed him in at the kingship position, The Lord God promised Saul a long lasting kingdom.  However, Saul lost that opportunity as it ended tragically.  He lost his kingdom due to his disobedience to the Lord and messenger of God at that time, Samuel. He insulted Samuel for his tardiness and presented a burnt offering that should have been done by Samuel.  It is regrettable that he did not want to repent from his sins that eventually led him to his tragic death.

I DECLARE: James 4:7 – Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
