I READ: Philippians 3
As children of light, we are to leave behind all the negative things that happened in our past; Failure, bitterness, disappointment, trauma, illness and many others. Everyone has unfortunate events they experienced in the past. However, by relying fully on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, we are no longer burdened by our past as He has paid everything in full. Because of this, when we are letting go of our past, we will be open to receive a future full of hope and blessings. When we understand His sacrifice on the cross along with His resurrection there is great power and miracles. When we believe, we are taking that power and using it to rise up from our burdened past.
