KEEPING OUR FAITH

I READ:  Hebrews 11

At the end of Apostle Paul’s life, he was able to boast that he has finished the race well and has kept his faith. As a believer, our faith will be tested often. For example, when we are experiencing a heavy problem, are we going to believe in the Lord’s promise or are we going to find a way out using our own strength? Our faith can also be tested when there are attractive offers that are not according to the Word of God. The question now is what decision are we going to make when given those choices? The characters mentioned in Hebrews 11 were people of strong faith until the end of their lives. They continued to have strong faith even though they didn’t receive everything that they put their faith in. These people can be called heroes or witnesses of faith. To be able to keep our faith, we need to be close to God and live a life led by the Holy Spirit.

I DECLARE:  2 Timothy 4:7 – I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
