I READ: Philippians 2:1-11
A humble person means someone who is able to prioritize others’ needs before his/hers; does not think him or herself to be smarter/better/higher/greater and respect others sincerely. The opposite of humbleness is arrogance. Jesus set an excellent example of humbleness during His time on Earth. While others criticized, mocked, judged, and thought of Him as a weirdo, Jesus did not get angry and He did not try to take revenge. Hence The Father in Heaven exalted Jesus and gave Him the Name above all names. God’s promise to those who are humble can be found in Proverbs 22:4: “Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life”. Unity can only happen when everyone has a humble heart. So let us respect one another and not be selfish, be there for each others through good times and bad times.
I DECLARE: Romans 12:10 – Be devoted to one another in love and honor one another above yourselves.
