GREAT RESTORATION

I READ: Ruth 1–4, Joel 2:25-26

Perhaps in the past we have experienced negative fateful life events.  We have to remember that God has promised to restore double for our trouble.  As believers, we shall eat plenty until we are satisfied and we shall experience the Lord’s blessings and miracles abundantly.  In the story of Ruth, God restored her life in an amazing way, where she was transformed from a poor widow into a wife of a prominent man in Bethlehem named Boaz.  Ruth loved God and she was intimate with Him.  She was also a very diligent person who never once complained.  Despite challenges, she kept the faith and gave thanks to the Lord.  It was because of her good character and attitude that brought great restoration to her life.

I DECLARE: Psalm 126:1 – When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream.

I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
