I READ: Ephesians 4
As children of light we have to live in God’s calling. God’s main calling is to spread His gospel to those who still don’t know Him. God also has called us to become a light to the nations. The next calling is for us to function in a local church (verse 16). Be involved in ministry. It is not the time anymore for us to live like those who do not know the Lord. God reminds us to put on the new man which was created according to God (verse 24) and to continually be renewed by His spirit, living in His will. Put away wrath, lying, stealing, laziness, foolish words, bitterness, slander, and quarrel. And start to live in gentleness, love, forgiveness, humility, tenderness, patience and unity.
I DECLARE: Ephesians 4:7 – But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
I DO: What action will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
