GIVING THANKS

I READ:: Psalm 52 : 10-11, Philippians 4 : 6

God desires us to always give thanks even though we’re experiencing an unpleasant situation. The reason for this is there is power behind giving thanks. By giving thanks, we will experience victory. When you give thanks, declare that God is good and He is our Savior. Do not let your worries prevent you from giving thanks. The Lord is reminding us today through His Word that if we’re experiencing hardship, bring that to the Lord in your prayer with thanksgiving. Psalm 52:9 says that when we give thanks, the Lord will  be in action. He will help us and His help is never too late. The more we give thanks, the faster we will experience victory. When we grumble or complain, we’re blocking God’s blessing to flow into our life. An example found in the BIble is when the Israelites were on their journey to the promise land. The more they complain, the longer they had to walk in the desert.

I DECLARE: Philippians 4 : 6 : Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

I DO: I will pray and ask the Holy Spirit to give me a new heart. A tender heart that will allow me to give thanks easily.

I PRAY: I will find a day where I can pray in the prayer tower. In the prayer tower I will pray so that God’s glory can fall in America and so that the harvest can happen again.
