Key Verse: Psalm 52 : 9a : I will praise You forever, because You have done it
There is power in giving thanks. The Lord longs for us to always give thanks, even if what we experience is bad. Give thanks and say that the Lord is good and He is always there as our helper. Don’t let worries hinder us from giving thanks. The Lord reminds us through His Word today that if we are experiencing problems at the moment, bring it to the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving. Psalm 52:11 says that when we give thanks, the Lord will act upon our thanksgiving. He will help us and His help is never too late. The more we give thanks, the faster we will experience victory. The more we complain, the more we will block the blessings of God from flowing into our lives. We can learn from the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land as an example. The more they complained, the longer they had to travel in the desert.
Complaining will not change the situation, it is better to give thanks. It will change the situation for the better.
Daily Action:
Today I will pray and ask the Holy Spirit to give me a new heart, a soft heart that is willing to give thanks.
Daily Declaration:
Philippians 4 : 6 : Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Daily Prayer:
Today I will pray together with my family in unity, we will lift up our prayers and thanksgiving.
