GIVE THANKS

I READ:  Colossians 3:15–17 ; Acts 28:15b

Giving thanks when everything is going well is very easy to do and mostly everyone can do that.  But the Word of God teaches us to give thanks in all things.  Both in good and bad conditions.  God has a reason on why we should give thanks always.  During Paul’s ministry, he experienced many things, good and bad.  There were times when Paul was very tired, but he knew exactly where to go to renew his strength.  Paul continuously came to God and gave thanks.  When Paul gave thanks, The Word of God says, “his heart was strengthened.” Giving thanks brings strength.  On the contrary, complaining decreases strength and weakens the bones (Psalm 31:10).

I DECLARE: Ephesians 5:20 – giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
