FIGHTING AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF DIVISION

Daily Verses: 1 Corinthians 1:10-11.

Key Verse: Matthew 12:25
But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

God desires unity but not the devil desires disunity. The devil rejoices when he sees disunity in a family, friendship, community, church, country, and nation. According to Galatians 5:20, disunity happens because there’s a spirit of disunity (factions) that is working in the midst of us. However, many people do not realize this spirit and the devil in turn uses these people to be the agent of disunity. One has to remember that whenever there is disunity, the devil will try to go deeper until he destroys a life. As God’s children, we have to be able to see whenever disunity starts happening. For example, if you see someone is starting to criticize, say hurtful things, do hurtful things, or gets jealous and starts to keep their distance from this person, we have to immediately fight and cast away this spirit of disunity. We have to fight it with love and forgiveness. Do not let the disunity go for a long period of time. We have to remember that our enemy is not against other human being. Remember that the devil is behind all of the disunity. Think about how wonderful it is for us to be able to live in unity and in love.

Love will cover all faults/mistakes.
