I READ: 2 Kings 2:1-12
Elisha was God’s prophet who witnessed His wonderful works that were performed through his spiritual leader, Elijah. When Elisha got his opportunity from Elijah, he did not ask for anything else but a double portion anointing, resulting in his work to have been twice more wonderful than that of Elijah’s. Today’s devotion reminds us to continuously seek and receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit so that we are able to start and finish our work with victory after victory. That is why we need God’s double anointing to have our capacity enlarged to do even greater and more amazing signs and wonders.
I DECLARE: Acts 1:8 – But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
