I READ: Acts 10: 9-16, 22-29
We need to have a heart that is full of compassion for others in order for us to experience the miracle of God. This compassionate heart will allow us to not easily be judgmental of others but instead be able to understand the situation that others are facing. In the story of Peter that you just read, God told peter to go and preach the Word to the gentiles even though the Law forbids the Jews to interact with the gentiles and Peter did this faithfully. God reminded Peter to have compassion and to not be judgmental towards the nations who long to come to God. God loves every nation and not just Israel. He longs for all the nations to be saved. Because of Peter’s faithfulness, miracles can be found in other nations and Cornelius and his brothers and friends received the salvation from God and the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 10:44-48)
I DECLARE: Romans 10: 12: For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
I DO: I will pray and ask the Lord to pour out His love anointing so that I can have compassion for others and to be able to understand the situation of others and to be able to help those who are in need.
I PRAY: I will pray together with my family members for our family’s VIP (very important people) list.
