DEFINITE HOPE

I READ: Joshua 1:1-6

After Moses died, God made Joshua to be the leader of Israel.  At the time, Joshua was young, and he had to lead the nation of Israel – a large nation to enter the promised land.  He knew that in order to do that, they had to face many battles.  Every inch was conquered through a battle. The Lord knew his situation.  That was why God promised Joshua that He would never leave or forsake Joshua. Every battle that Joshua faced ended with victory.  The Lord kept His promise to Joshua and in the end, Joshua and the nation of Israel lived in the promised land.  If you are waiting for the Lord’s promises to come to past in your lives, just believe!  The God that we believe in will fulfill His promises in perfection.

I DECLARE: Romans 5:5 – Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

I DO: What actions am I going to take after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY:
Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
