DEFEAT THE DEVIL

I READ: Matthew 4: 1 – 11

When Jesus was tempted by Satan, He firmly cast him out by declaring the Word of God, verse 10.  The devil then left Him, and the angels came and ministered to Him.  Defeat the devil with faith and with the declaration of the Word of God, Ephesians 6:17-18.  When we do this, the devil will no longer be able to touch our lives ever again.  If we don’t want the devil to get close to us, we also have to say repeatedly that we have been redeemed by the Lord, and that we are sealed by His blood.   Throughout this week, we have learned how important it is to declare the Word of God.  Let us start to practice it in our lives so that we can experience victory after victory.

I DECLARE: Ephesians 6: 16-17: above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

I DO: What actions am I going to take today after meditating on the Word of God?

I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit
