DECLARE GOD’S WORD

I READ: 1 Samuel 17: 40 – 51, Matthew 16: 19

At the prayer tower we need to declare God’s Word often. Today we are going to learn from the story of David about how declaring/stating God’s Word is so important in our life and how we also need to practice this at the prayer tower. David was not at all affected or intimidated by Goliath’s threats against him and his people, verses 43-44. From the story of David, we see the Lord’s great power and protection when David believed and started to declare in faith, verses 46-47. With confidence, David said to Goliath, “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you…” And rightfully so, the Lord gave David great victory and Goliath was defeated and killed. It is so amazing how victory is ours when we believe and start to declare God’s Word. Not only will declaring God’s Word bring us victory over the devil, but it will also bring blessings over everything we pray for. An example of this is when we declare God’s Word and bless the nations through our Daily Declarations. Afterward, blessings start to be poured out from heaven for the nations, Matthew 16:19.

I DECLARE: Matthew 16: 19: And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

I DO: Today I will start to declare God’s Word for my life, and I will also declare the Word for this nation when I pray at the prayer tower.

I PRAY: Today I will pray for the leaders that the Lord has placed above me, whether it be in my family, workplace, and/or local church. And I will bless them through my prayers.
