I READ: Lamentations 2: 18:19, Isaiah 62: 6-7
Once again, we will discuss more about how a prayer tower is about prayer, praise and worship that is done in unity, day and night in addition to the previous lessons. So why does a church of God need to pray day and night or in other words 24 hours a day for a nation? When we look at the two verses from today’s reading, we would find that both verses are talking about a similar thing. The two verses are talking about how Israel was restored by God from its pitfall. How did God restore Israel? There’s only one answer and that is the Israelites shouted to God in their prayer in unity, day and night until God finally restored Israel. Do not rest and sit still before this restoration happens. We can see that America is going through the same thing these days. The condition of this nation is like the condition of Israel at the time. America’s condition these days is not good. There’s an economic recession, unemployment rate is rising, moral depravity, etc. Because we’re a church in this nation, we need to do the same thing as what the Israelites did. We need to pray to God in Unity Day and night and ask for restoration to happen in America. Do not stop praying until God visits this nation.
I DECLARE: Isaiah 62: 6: I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent
I DO: I will pray and worship the Lord in a united prayer.
I PRAY: I will pray with a friend in faith in the prayer tower.
