CLOSING THE GAP FOR THE DEVOURERS

I READ: Malachi 3:10-12.

By giving our tithe, we are fulfilling the first criteria in preventing the Lord’s blessings from being stolen from our lives. The second criteria is to live a righteous life. Living a righteous life means we are not living a sinful life. If we are living in a sinful life, we are opening a gap for the devourers to steal the blessings from our lives. We need to make sure that there is not a sin that is real or hidden in our lives. If we have sinned, we need to ask for forgiveness and not commit the same sin again. If we do so, every gap that we have opened, they will be closed by the blood of Christ. Do not blame God if there are gaps in our lives. It is not because of God that the gaps are there but it is because of our own actions. The devil will immediately enter into the gap whenever he sees it. If we do the two criteria mentioned above, our lives and blessings will be protected by God.

I DECLARE: Jeremiah 17:7:  “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.

I DO: I will correct myself everyday so that I do not open an opportunity for the devourers to steal the blessings from the Lord.

I PRAY: I will pray so that whatever the devil has stolen from my family, they will be returned in multiples.
