I READ: Ephesians 6: 10-14
As children of God we must use the entire armor of God (not just some) so that it can withstand and resist the wiles of the devil. The first armor of God is truth. Truth refers to believers who have been forgiven and justified by the blood of Jesus. Truth also talks about how we must live a life that is based on the Word of God, Psalm 119:105. The above verse says that the truth should be our belt. We know that the main purpose of a belt is to give support to our clothes so that our clothes don’t fall off and can still protect our body. So, if belt symbolizes truth, then that truth will protect and safeguard our lives physically and spiritually.
I DECLARE: Proverbs 8: 7: For my mouth speaks the truth, wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
I DO: What actions will I take today after meditating on the Word of God?
I PRAY: Pray as guided by the Holy Spirit.
